On the phone with a Stetera technician? Type the 6-digit PIN they gave you to download our support app, so we can connect to your computer and help.

What happens next

The support app downloadsIt’s ScreenConnect, the remote support tool we use. On Windows the file is called something like ScreenConnect.ClientSetup.exe.
Open itClick the file in your browser’s downloads. If Windows or your Mac asks whether to run it or allow changes, choose Run, Open or Yes.
Stay on the phoneIn a minute your computer shows up for your technician, who connects and fixes things while you watch.

We never call you first to ask for access Stetera will never call, email, text or pop up a warning out of the blue asking you to let us into your computer. Only enter a PIN when you called us or you’re expecting our call. Not sure? Hang up and call us at (410) 421-7806.
